About Me

I am a first-year Master of Development Practices at the Humphrey School. I am expanding my research and skills in economic development and health equity for all women.

I received a Political Science degree with an emphasis in International Relations at Boise State University, ID. In Boise, I spent time advocating and community organizing around refugee political inclusion. My experiences in working with the Boise Mayor’s Office as the Community Engagement Intern has allowed me to create social cohesion between the local government and marginalized communities to build community trust. By giving individuals and groups a voice and a sense of ownership over the issues that affect them, community engagement can be utilized to strengthen and actively transform their communities. For equitable communities, I believe it’s crucial to prioritize improving people’s access to resources and opportunities.
