About Me

I am a public health professional specializing in maternal and child health policy. My work is driven by my commitment to improving health equity through antiracist policy, systems, and environmental change. When CARHE was founded, I joined the founding team as the Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Policy & Research. I have since transitioned to working full time for the University of Minnesota Rural Health Research Center (RHRC), but am happy to continue working closely with the CARHE team as the project manager of the Policies 4 Action Systems Thinking for Antiracist Research Hub, which funds both CARHE and RHRC projects.

I earned my BS in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and my MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. I am also a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).
