Imagine a world where every person in every community has the opportunity for a healthy life. That possibility drives the University of Minnesota School of Public Health faculty, staff, students, and partners to discover new paths, seek alternatives, push harder, and create inventive solutions in our commitment to make health a human right. As one of the premier schools of public health in the world, the School of Public Health prepares some of the most influential leaders in the field, and provides the knowledge health departments, communities, and policymakers need to make the best decisions about population health.

The Center for Antiracism Research for Health Equity (CARHE, pronounced "care") was founded at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. It is also the alma mater of many people on our team, including Founding Director Rachel Hardeman PhD, MPH! We are proud of our home and our shared work toward health equity. For more on the School of Public Health's antiracist initiatives, check out their Strategic Plan for Antiracism (SPAR) .
